Brief purpose of the study: | The purpose of the research study is to identify novel antibody that can inhibit semen liquefaction process in humans as a new contraceptive method. |
Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | The subject will be asked to answer eligibility questionnaire (prescreening), read consent, and provide semen via self-masturbation. The entire process will take approximately 45 min to 1 hr including prescreening, reading consent, and proving the sample. You will be asked to come to the NextGen Precision Health Building to read the consent and provide the sample. |
Basic eligibility criteria: | A healthy men in the reproductive age (18 years or older). You will be prescreened to determine the eligibility for a research study. The prescreening will take ~5 min. |
