| Brief purpose of the study: | The purpose of this project is to examine the impact of increases in brain insulin on sympathetic nervous system activity, as well as peripheral (leg) and cerebral (brain) blood flow in healthy humans. |
| Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | Participants will be asked to complete one 30-minute screening visit via Zoom and one 6-hour study visit. A sub-set of participants will be asked to complete one additional 3-hour study visit. |
| Basic eligibility criteria: | All subjects will report being healthy adult men and women, 18-45 years of age, BMI ≥18 kg/m2, non-pregnant, non-breastfeeding, and non-nicotine users. |
