Brief purpose of the study: | Successful adjustment to any new situation requires developing and using the resources and skills necessary to meet perceived challenges. It’s important to see how undergraduate students are adapting to and coping with college life. We seek to document how these factors come together in the experiences of undergraduate students and how they affect their personal success and well-being in a college environment. |
Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | You will be asked to complete a series of anonymous online questionnaires about your college experiences, involvements, and personality type. You also will be asked some general questions about your background characteristics. No individually identifiable information will be collected from you. Some research requires that the full purpose of the study not be explained before you participate. We will give you a full explanation at the end of the study. |
Basic eligibility criteria: | Participants must be undergraduate students at the University of Missouri who are 18-23 years of age and have internet access. |
