Brief purpose of the study: | The goal of this project is to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of metacognitive strategy training delivered via telehealth on activity performance, cognition, and quality of life in individuals with post-COVID-19 syndrome, or long-haul COVID. |
Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | This study will last for ~12 weeks. The schedule consists of 1 pre-intervention assessment session, 10 weekly intervention sessions, and 1 post-intervention assessment session. All sessions are completed over Zoom videoconferencing, and participants will be compensated $120 for completing the entire study. |
Basic eligibility criteria: | • 18-60 years of age
• self-reported cognitive symptoms persisting for at least 6 weeks following COVID-19 infection
• self-identified activity performance goals
• documented prior diagnosis of COVID-19
• read, write, and speak English fluently; and
• ability to provide valid informed electronic consent. |
