Research studies seeking participants

Seeking young adults age 18-25 to participate in an EEG study
Approved on:2024-11-04
Brief purpose of the study:This research study investigates cognitive processing of newly learned cues for a liquid reward.
Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do:The research study involves 3 laboratory visits in 1 week and completing 5 electronic surveys up to 12 months after the last laboratory visit. During the lab visits, you will be asked to complete a computerized learning task in which you are presented various visual stimuli, some of which predict receipt of a small amount of fruit juice (you will pick the flavor you like best from 3 options). Your electroencephalogram (EEG) will be recorded so that we can visualize how your brain processes visual stimuli and liquid reward.
Basic eligibility criteria:Individuals ages 18-25 and who have consumed at least 5 drinks containing any kind of alcohol in their lifetime may be eligible.
