| Brief purpose of the study: | Understand how the Flu and COVID-19 influences our body’s immune responses against the virus and how the virus spreads. |
| Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | Provide a blood sample and nose swab during your initial visit
Provide additional 4 blood samples over a six month period
Provide optional at-home nasal swabs
Complete a baseline survey about yourself (~10 minutes)
Complete follow-up survey at each blood draw (~5 minutes) |
| Basic eligibility criteria: | You have been diagnosed with the flu or COVID-19 (positive COVID home test or positive test completed at a clinic
Have been sick for less than 5 days
Are 18 years of age or older
English speaking |
