Surveying Educators' Perspectives: Defining Student-on-Teacher Assault in Schools

Brief purpose of the study:The purpose of this study is to survey teachers to help better understand their definitions of student-on-teacher assault within the school walls. We aim to compare teacher definitions to legal definitions and analyze differences or similarities in definitions between demographic groups.
Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do:Participants will be asked to complete four open-ended questions about their experience and definition of student-to-teacher assault.
Basic eligibility criteria:Be a K-12 teacher in the United States, either general education or special education.
