Brief purpose of the study: | The purpose of this study is to survey teachers to help better understand their definitions of student-on-teacher assault within the school walls. We aim to compare teacher definitions to legal definitions and analyze differences or similarities in definitions between demographic groups. |
Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | Participants will be asked to complete four open-ended questions about their experience and definition of student-to-teacher assault. |
Basic eligibility criteria: | Be a K-12 teacher in the United States, either general education or special education. |
