| Brief purpose of the study: | The overall objective of this study is to understand the current landscape of OTP SM understanding, competency, and promotion of SM for PwSCI. We will accomplish this through a mixed methods study that includes a quantitative cross-sectional survey for OTPs working with PwSCI followed by semi-structured interviews of OTPs. This study will take place at the University of Missouri, be approved by the Institutional Review Board, and informed consent will be obtained from all participants. |
| Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | Participants will be asked to complete a survey and then asked if they would also be interested in completing an interview. We aim to collect a minimum of 50 OTP surveys (approximately 20 minutes) and will complete the follow-up qualitative interviews with OTPs (interviews approximately 45 minutes) until data saturation is reached. |
| Basic eligibility criteria: | To be included in this study, OTPs must be over 18 years old, be willing to respond in English, and have at least one year of experience working with PwSCI in any healthcare setting in the United States. |
