Brief purpose of the study: | The purpose of this study is to understand how first- and second-generation immigrants make sense of identities of resilience and construct their ethnic identities while living in the diaspora. |
Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | Participants will be asked to share narratives about resiliency and identity construction while living in the diaspora. Participants will be asked to participant in an interview. |
Basic eligibility criteria: | Participants must identify as a first- or second-generation immigrant. In the context of this study, a first-generation immigrant is an individual who immigrated from their homeland to the United States, while a second-generation immigrant is the child of at least one first-generation immigration. |
