| Brief purpose of the study: | The purpose of this study is to better understand how memory, language, and aging are connected. Specifically, we are studying how people speak and use language in everyday situations, and how this may differ between people with and without memory concerns. The goal is to improve early detection of cognitive decline, including Alzheimer’s disease. |
| Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | You will complete a set of brief tasks on your smartphone using a mobile app called TigerAware. These include language tasks (such as naming items, describing pictures, and explaining common activities), and memory tasks (such as word recall and attention tests). You will also complete questionnaires about your background, daily functioning, language use, mood, and memory. |
| Basic eligibility criteria: | - 50 to 89 years old
