| Brief purpose of the study: | The study examines how infants understand attachment relevant situations. |
| Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | The study involves one lab visit when the infant is 4-9 months old. During the lab visit, you will be asked to fill out background information about you and your baby. Your baby will participate by sitting on your lap and watching videotaped events while their looking behavior is measured.
The lab visit lasts about 30 minutes. You will receive a $25 gift card for your time, regardless of whether you and your baby complete the procedures.
