Perception of Infant Cues Study
Approved on:2026-01-16
Brief purpose of the study:This study is designed to validate images of infants to create an online database to be used by the research community. Facial stimuli databases are widely used across various research fields to explore topics such as memory, perception, attention, and more. To ensure the inclusivity of these studies, it is crucial to have databases that reflect diverse age groups, genders, races, and other demographic factors. This study aims to expand available resources by creating the first-ever infant facial stimuli database, thereby enriching research across multiple domains and advancing our understanding in key areas of development and cognition.
