| Brief purpose of the study: | The purpose of the clinical trial is to identify whether a telehealth intervention called Pathways and Resources for Engagement and Participation (PREP) is feasible and better than an educational resource alone for improving participation, transition readiness, and quality of life in youth with cerebral palsy (CP) and their caregivers. |
| Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | Youth with cerebral palsy (CP) and their caregivers will be asked to develop activity-based transition goals. Some youth with CP will participate in 12, one-hour telehealth calls on Protected Zoom to work towards activity-based transition goals. Some youth with CP will receive a publicly available transition resource and meet with the research team weekly on Protected Zoom. All participants will also be asked to complete online questionnaires two times during the research study. Some youth with CP and their caregivers may be invited to participate in an interview to talk about their experiences during the Protected Zoom calls. |
| Basic eligibility criteria: | Youth with Cerebral Palsy ages 13 - 17 with at least one year remaining in high school, ability to engage in a back-and-forth conversation, and ability to self-mobilize with or without adaptive equipment AND a primary caregiver aged 18 or older |
