Dating & Disabled in College: Experiences of Disabled College Students

Brief purpose of the study:The purpose of this narrative study is to explore the lived dating experiences of disabled college students. At this stage of the research, lived dating experiences are broadly defined as interactions or events aimed at developing a deeper understanding of a prospective romantic partner.
Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do:Participants will be asked to complete a one-on-one semi-structured interview (40-50 minutes), responding to approximately 10 questions with several prompts for each. The interview will collect demographic information and explore topics such as challenges or barriers participants have faced while dating and how these experiences affect their relational self-efficacy.
Basic eligibility criteria:Participants must be college students who identify as having a disability and have experience dating while in college.
