| Brief purpose of the study: | We are examining factors relating to emerging adults’ breakup experiences. |
| Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | Participants will be asked to complete a one-time, 20-minute, online survey. They will answer a few eligibility questions, review and agree to an online consent form, and then respond to questions about themselves, their past dating relationships, how they feel about being in relationships and their confidence in ending relationships. Participants may skip any question and may stop participating at any time. Submitting the survey with at minimum 80% of survey questions completed grants participants the option to enter a raffle for one of ten $15 Amazon gift cards. |
| Basic eligibility criteria: | Be Mizzou students between 18 and 25 years old, currently single, and have experienced at least one dating or romantic relationship that ended since they turned 18. |
