School-Based Mental Health Practitioners as Change Agents in Latine Youth Mental Health

Brief purpose of the study:This study seeks to explore school-based mental health practitioners perceptions, competencies, and experiences working with Latine youth and their families. The goal is to better understand how school-based mental health practitioners engage Latine youth and their families in mental health services and what factors contribute to service engagement.
Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do:Participants are asked to complete a Qualtrics survey regarding their perceptions, competencies, and experiences working with Latine youth and their families. The survey should take no longer than 30 minutes to complete. Eligible participants have the option to be entered into a raffle to win one of multiple $15 gift cards for completing the survey.
Basic eligibility criteria:Participants must be licensed or certified school-based mental health practitioners (i.e., School Counselor, School Psychologist, School Social Worker) who worked in a student-facing role at a public, private, charter, residential, early childhood, Montessori, or independent school during the 2024-2025 school year.
