Patient Perspectives on Dyadic Postpartum Care for Breastfeeding Support

Brief purpose of the study:The purpose of this study is to better understand patient experiences with breastfeeding support and postpartum healthcare. We are interested in learning how parents experience care for breastfeeding concerns and how care for mothers and infants could be better coordinated. Feedback from participants will help inform future care models designed to better support breastfeeding families.
Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do:Participants will be invited to take part in an individual interview with a member of the research team. During this conversation, participants will be asked to share their experiences with breastfeeding, seeking help for breastfeeding concerns, and interacting with healthcare providers during the postpartum period. The session will last approximately 60 minutes and will be conducted virtually or in person. With permission, the discussion will be audio recorded to ensure accurate transcription for research purposes.
Basic eligibility criteria:You may be eligible to participate if you: Are 18 years or older Delivered a baby within the past 24 months Breastfed or attempted to breastfeed your baby Are willing to share your experiences in a focus group or interview about postpartum breastfeeding care
