| Brief purpose of the study: | The purpose of the clinical trial is to find out whether sirolimus can help improve blood flow and energy use in the brain. This will be measured using MRI scans in people who have the ApoE4 gene, which increases the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. |
| Brief summary of what participants will be asked to do: | Participants will be asked to take Sirolimus or a placebo orally, once daily for 4 weeks, provide blood samples, and receive MRI exams. Total study duration is approximately 12 weeks. |
| Basic eligibility criteria: | 1. Sex assigned at birth: female
2. 45-65 years old
3. ApoE4 positive |
