Adults’ Perceptions of Childhood ExperiencesParticipants must be 18-50 years of age, reside in the US, be able to read/write English well enough to complete the study, and have reliable internet access.
Epithelial sodium channels in endothelial cells and arterial stiffening Participants aged between 18-35 years not taking any medications at the time of enrollment will be recruited. Healthy volunteer are individuals without hypertension, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and renal disease. Clinical hypertension is diagnosed when systolic blood pressure is ≥130 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure is ≥ 80 mmHg. Obesity is diagnosed as a body mass index (BMI) > 30.
Maternal Health Resources in Rural Communities A woman that has recently had a live birth and identifies living in rural Missouri Healthcare Providers that work with women that have recently given birth in rural Missouri WIC Coordinators that educate women that have recently given birth in rural Missouri Lactation Consultants that educate women that have recently given birth in rural Missouri Other individuals that support and/or provide educational services about nutrition to women that has recently given birth and live in Rural Missouri.
Motives for School and Work among Mid-Missouri FamiliesWe are recruiting families from counties in mid-Missouri who live outside of the city of Columbia. Families must speak and read English fluently to participate. Families will be able to participate either online (by Zoom) or by visiting our lab in McReynolds Hall on the MU campus.
Cognitive strategy training in post-COVID-19 syndrome• 18-60 years of age • self-reported cognitive symptoms persisting for at least 6 weeks following COVID-19 infection • self-identified activity performance goals • documented prior diagnosis of COVID-19 • read, write, and speak English fluently; and • ability to provide valid informed electronic consent.
Wireless Wearable Device for Human Heart MonitoringOur group team is currently seeking healthy volunteers, aged from 19 to 70 years, to participate in a wireless wearable device test for monitoring heart health. We will exclude children, pregnant women, prisoners and patients diagnosed with heart disease symptoms. This excludes participants with major illness history and experienced any cardiac-related diseases recently.
